Housing Search Support
The Housing Resource Worker is available to provide assistance with housing searches. Our program is available to West Broadway residents actively seeking new housing as well as unhoused individuals accessing resources or seeking housing within the West Broadway neighbourhood. If people are searching for housing or services outside of the West Broadway neighbourhood, referrals to other organizations are available.
Our Housing Resource Worker is available for drop-in support Monday - Thursday 1:00 - 4:00pm or by appointment.
The Housing Resource Worker can help by:
Having one-on-one sessions to discuss current housing circumstances, needs and solutions to housing barriers.
Assistance with online housing searches, applications, navigating lease agreements and scheduling viewings.
Offering office support and materials such as telephone usage, typing, printing, scanning and emails.
Informing and supporting individuals in navigating systems related to housing including EIA or other income support.
Assisting individuals in obtaining necessary identification required for housing applications.
