West Broadway Snow Team
In recent years, West Broadway residents have mobilized in greater numbers to alert municipal authorities of deficiencies and request improvements to snow removal services. With some of Winnipeg’s narrowest, most densely populated streets, and a high percentage of residents who do not own a vehicle, West Broadway’s need for clear sidewalks is urgent. The West Broadway Snow team augments municipal services, responding to major snow falls by shoveling neighbourhood bus stops and sidewalks along high-traffic pedestrian corridors, targeting blocks near medical services and seniors’ residences.
