Daniel Gilson is a graduate of Robson Hall, Faculty of Law of the University of Manitoba. He was called to the bar in 2009. He joined PILC as an administrative law advocate in 2016. He has represented people making claims for compensation under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. He has also worked as an investigator for the Manitoba Ombudsman. His work at the Advocacy Unit focuses on providing people with guidance and representation on residential tenancy matters and Employment and Income Assistance benefits.
