Zoom Seminar 1: Learning about Above Guideline Rent Increases in West Broadway

This first event in the West Broadway Tenant’s Committee’s “Root Problems: Exploring Systems Thinking and Tenant Resistance”, a four-part event series, will dive into the issue of Above Guideline Rent Increases (AGIs) and their impact on tenants in Winnipeg. We will examine how AGIs contribute to housing insecurity and explore tenants' responses to these pressures, learning about broader effects on affordable housing systems. An optional reading list will be available beforehand to deepen understanding on this topic.
